2014

If 2013 was a year of new starts — married life, new city, new job, new school — 2014 was the Jill and I began to settle into our new surroundings. 2013 was the dog making circles and sniffing his bed, 2014 was the dog finally laying down.

Previous posts on this blog show some events of our year; our (and my first) trip to Disneyland, and our ski trip to Lake Tahoe. But I haven't been updating the blog as regularly as I planned, so here some of the previously undocumented events:

• Over the summer, Jill worked an internship at Knoll, and also worked part time at Nicholas Weinstein Studio during the summer.
• Had our second annual T&J&H&K vacation. This time a road trip to Portland and Seattle.
• Travelled to Nashville for Thanksgiving, where we hung out with all the Sartins, and played in the Annual Sartin Turkey Bowl.
• Found out that Jill’s sister was pregnant!
• Had tons of friends and family visit. We are now experts at the whole SF tourism thing.

My New Year’s resolution every year is going to be to update this blog more often. We’ll see if it sticks this time.
